A selection of breads, muesli, corn flakes, Special K, freshly squeezed orange juice or cranberry juice. Often there will be apple juice and tomato juice. Mineral water (fizzy or still).
Coffee, selection of teas, (homemade) hot chocolate, with milk or cream, chocolate chip muffins, yoghurt muffins, , donuts, homemade and other jams and/or marmalades, honey, peanut butter, Nutella chocolate spread, hagelslag, Sirop de Liège, muesli bars, liver pate, La Vache Qui Rit, dried fruit selection (apricot, prune, seed mix, raisins), olive oil…
Yoghurts (fruit, plain and Greek), smoked salmon, selection of cheese and cold meats (a minimum of 6 different ones each, but usually many more), selection of fruits, seasonal such as (water) melon, pineapple, strawberries. Fresh figs, fresh grapes, fresh plums, all straight from the tree, plus, the fruit bowl we have on display at all times, cherry tomatoes.
At least one egg preparation per day. These will vary so that no one day is the same. Most days there will also be a hot dish. This may take the shape of sausages, or maybe chef’s famous chorizo and baked beans, corned beef hash…
At regular intervals we provide tomate rallado, which is a very Andaluz dish of peeled tomato blended with pepper, salt and olive oil. Eaten by many locals for breakfast on toasted bread.
Often there will be almond tart, chocolate brownie or other sweet accompaniment.
