Hidden amongst the olive groves, just South of Lake Iznajar, lies the treasure that is Cortijo La Haza. A haven of peace and tranquillity, La Haza is a 250-year old traditional Cortijo, beautifully restored into a 6-bedroom B&B.

The setting couldn’t be more spectacular, amongst the olive groves and rolling hills of Southern Andalucia with unforgettable views even as far as the snowy peaks of the Sierra Nevada!

MAGNIFICENT INFINITY POOL

The La Haza pool, now a household name. A beautiful infinity pool of 9 by 5 meters with a depth of 1.20 to 1.80 meters, completely integrated into the landscape. With blue and green tiles: the blue of the sky, the green of the olive trees.

A real eye-catcher that radiates tranquility and offers wonderful cooling in the summer. With salt water, so good for your skin. The pool is large enough to swim laps. It is open all year round and is not heated.

A CULINARY HOLIDAY

Our restaurant is exceptional. That’s what our guests say. Top quality Spanish products, prepared with a Belgian twist. Spain has a great range of delicacies such as Iberian pork, beef from Galicia, fresh fish and river trout from Riofrío.

On your plate, these top ingredients are accompanied by seasonal vegetables and a heavenly sauce. Prepared with love by chef Patriek who could turn his hobby into his profession.

Staying in a typical decor

SPACIOUS ROOMS WITH ALL COMFORT

Bed & Breakfast Cortijo La Haza has 6 beautiful, spacious rooms at your disposal. They are all decorated in typical Andalusian style with rustic elements. You can choose from a double bed or twin beds if desired and there is air conditioning and heating in the room.

You also have an en suite bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Bath towels as well as toiletries and a hairdryer are available. There are also bath towels for the pool in the room. And of course there is WiFi.

It is with considerable pride, and through sheer hard work that La Haza can claim to be the only establishment in the area featured in such renowned guides as Alastair Sawday’s Special Places to Stay in Spain, Lonely Planet Guide, Rough Guide, Michelin Guide and a host of other guides and websites. This is not surprising when we are the only ones to offer 6-star service (not our words), a comprehensive package with dining, coupled with superb knowledge of the area.

La Haza is easily the most centrally located B&B, near the motorway that links Granada (1h), Malaga (1h) and Sevilla (2h), and only 1h15 from Cordoba. It is also within easy reach of the coastal resorts, and a variety of treasures hidden in the area. So it is the perfect venue for guests wishing to escape to the real Spain for total relaxation, but just as good as a comfortable base from which to explore the area.

Thank you for a wonderful stay! Cortijo La Haza is such a beautiful place and the views are just perfect. We’ve so enjoyed our few days here, lazing by the pool, eating delicious food, interesting day trips and perfect weather. You are both so friendly and helpful and Patriek’s food is so delicious!
